How do I register a domain?

Register a domain online through TeknoWeb by searching, choosing a term, adding it to the cart and paying.

Online registration is currently available only for .com.tr, .net.tr and .org.tr extensions. .com, .net and .org search results and prices are still displayed; use the Open support ticket link next to the result and our team will register the domain with you.

  1. Domain search: open this page and enter the name you want.
  2. Results show whether the domain can be registered and its extension-specific price.
  3. For an extension available online, select a registration term from 1 to 3 years.
  4. Add the domain to your cart.
  5. Review the order summary and proceed to payment. Enter the domain holder's WHOIS details during checkout; these must be accurate and current.
  6. After payment, the domain is linked to your account and listed under My Domains in the customer dashboard.

When signed in, you can also start from Buy Domain in your customer dashboard.

Choosing a good domain

  • Choose a short, memorable name that is easy to type.
  • Consider that Turkish characters and hyphens may cause confusion when sharing the name aloud.
  • Consider registering the same name with several extensions to protect your brand.

Rechecking before payment

A domain available when searched may be registered by someone else before you finish paying. Availability and price are therefore checked again before payment.

About pricing

  • Prices in domain search results are exclusive of VAT.
  • Some extensions have renewal prices different from initial registration prices. Current prices are always shown on the search page.

After registration

After registration, change nameservers (NS) and check automatic renewal settings; DNS records are managed at the service your nameservers use. See Domain management: NS, DNS and transfer lock.

For supported extensions, see Available domain extensions.
