VPS control panel compatibility: cPanel, Plesk, DirectAdmin
In this article (4)
You can optionally choose DirectAdmin, Plesk or cPanel when ordering a VPS. The license fee is included in the monthly price; our team installs the panel manually after the order. Track installation through a support ticket. Vendor system requirements mean these panels do not run on every architecture and operating system.
License editions
Available license editions: DirectAdmin Personal+ (2 accounts, 20 domains), Plesk Web Admin (10 domains), cPanel Solo (1 account).

Summary
- cPanel: Does not run on ARM. x86 plans require AlmaLinux 9, Rocky Linux 9 or Ubuntu 24.04.

- DirectAdmin: Can be installed on every plan and operating system, including ARM.
Checkout warns you if you choose an incompatible panel and operating system combination.
Our team installs panels manually, so the panel may take additional time after your server is ready; follow installation through a support ticket. Without a panel, the server is delivered with only your chosen operating system and you install software yourself.
Making your choice
- Decide which panel you want to use.
- Choose an x86 plan if you want cPanel or Plesk.
- Choose a compatible operating system from the table.
For questions about choosing a panel, open a support ticket. For architecture choices, see ARM or x86? for details.
