Manage mailboxes in the customer dashboard: open My Services and your email service, then select the Email tab. Email Accounts shows your mailboxes and used allowance, for example 3/10 mailboxes.
Creating a mailbox
- New Mailbox: select this button.
- Enter the mailbox name, only the part before @ (for example
satis). - Set the mailbox password.
- Create Mailbox creates the mailbox immediately with this password.
Mailbox storage is determined by your plan; each new mailbox receives the plan's per-mailbox allowance.
Mailbox name rules
- Must start with a lowercase letter or number.
- May contain only letters, numbers, dots (.), underscores (_) and hyphens (-).
Password rules
- At least 10 characters.
- At least 1 uppercase letter, 1 number and 1 special character.
Changing a password
- In the mailbox row, select Change password.
- Enter and save the new password.
- Update the password in the user's phone and computer email clients too.
Disabling and enabling a mailbox
When an employee leaves, for example, use Disable to disable rather than delete the mailbox. Disabled mailboxes show as "Inactive"; use Enable to restore access.
Deleting a mailbox
Delete removes the mailbox and all its messages; back them up first if needed.
admin@alanadiniz is the main administrator mailbox and cannot be disabled or deleted.
If your mailbox allowance is full
No additional mailbox can be created once you reach the plan limit. Upgrade for more mailboxes; payment of the upgrade invoice automatically updates count and storage to the new plan while preserving existing messages. For plans, see the business email product page.
