Withdrawal rights for digital products

Digital products such as Academy books unlock in your account as soon as payment is approved. Withdrawal rights therefore differ from physical products.
Why is withdrawal unavailable?
Under Article 15(ğ) of the Distance Contracts Regulation, withdrawal does not apply to digital content performed and delivered immediately electronically. Because access opens immediately after payment approval, the right ends upon delivery.
Your checkout acknowledgement
This is clearly stated when ordering. A separate checkbox confirms that the product unlocks immediately after payment approval and your withdrawal right therefore ends. Ordering cannot complete without it.
If the cart also contains a service, the wording includes consent to start that service before the withdrawal period ends.
Before purchase
Since withdrawal is unavailable, we want an informed purchase decision:
- Read the contents and intended-reader sections on the book page.
- Review the free first chapter without registration.
- Compare bundles and reader discounts when buying several books from a series.
