Which .tr extensions are available?

Register these Turkish extensions through TeknoWeb:

• .com.tr
• .net.tr
• .org.tr

Searching and adding to the cart work as with other extensions; any additional extension-specific information is requested during ordering. Domain search: search for your domain and add it to the cart.

The difference between NS and DNS

Nameservers (NS) determine where your domain's records are stored. DNS records determine your website's server (A record), where mail is delivered (MX record) and other settings. Point NS to a service and manage DNS records in that service's panel.

DNS management for .tr domains

For .tr domains, the customer dashboard does not manage DNS records. Only nameservers (NS) can be changed there.

This means:

• To use TeknoWeb hosting, point nameservers to the NS addresses provided through a support ticket.
• For another service, enter that service's NS addresses.
• Add A, MX and TXT records in the DNS panel of the service your NS point to.

Changing nameservers

1. In the customer dashboard, open My Domains.
2. Click the relevant .tr domain.
3. Enter the new NS addresses in the nameservers section and save.

NS propagation takes time. Before making changes, if unsure which addresses to use, open a support ticket to ask us.
