Sessions, new-device alerts and email changes

Track signed-in devices in the dashboard and immediately close unfamiliar sessions. This article covers session lists, new-device alerts, email changes and password resets.
Session list
My Profile: the Security tab contains the Sessions card with two lists:
- Active sessions: Browsers and devices currently signed in. Your current device is marked This device.
- Sign-ins in the past 30 days: Sign-ins over the past 30 days and their methods, such as email/password, Google, Apple or passkey.
Closing sessions
- Next to an unfamiliar session, select Sign out.
- To close all sessions except your current device, use Sign out other devices and confirm. Your current session remains open.
- After an unfamiliar sign-in, change your password and enable two-factor authentication.
New-device alert
A sign-in from a browser and operating system combination not used in the past 180 days triggers an email alert. If it was you, no action is needed. Otherwise close that session in the list and change your password.
Changing your email address
- Security tab, go to Change Email.
- Enter the new address twice and your current password for security.
- A confirmation link is sent to the new address. Clicking it changes the address; until then, the old address remains valid.
Once completed, the old address is notified too. This helps detect unauthorized changes. For accounts created with Google or Apple, first set a password in Sign-in methods before changing email.
Password reset
If you forgot your password, use reset on the sign-in page. The link you receive is valid for 1 hour; request another after expiry.
Further protect your account with two-factor authentication or a passkey.
