Upgrading or downgrading hosting and changing the billing period

When your needs change, you can change your hosting plan without creating a new service. All actions are on the page opened with the Upgrade button on your service page. These actions are available only for active services.
Upgrading your plan
- Open your service from My Services and click Upgrade.
- Select one of the higher plans listed. You can only switch within the same product group.
- Upgrade Plan confirms the change. An invoice for the difference is created based on the time remaining in your current period.
- After you pay the difference invoice, your service switches to the new plan automatically. Your website, files and databases are preserved.
A service can have only one unpaid upgrade invoice at a time. An unpaid upgrade invoice does not suspend your service; the upgrade simply does not take place.
Downgrading your plan
- On the same page, use the Downgrade Plan section to select a lower plan.
- Check the amount to be credited to your balance in the confirmation dialog and confirm.
A downgrade does not create an invoice. The price difference for the remaining time is credited to your account balance and your plan changes immediately. Before downgrading, check that your disk usage, number of websites and email accounts fit within the new plan's limits.
Changing the billing period
Change Billing Period lets you switch the same plan to monthly or yearly billing:
- Monthly to yearly: A difference invoice is created taking your remaining period into account; the new period begins after payment.
- Yearly to monthly: The difference is credited to your balance.
About account credit
Amounts credited to your balance can be used for future invoices and new orders. Balance cannot be converted to cash or transferred to another account. You can track it on the customer dashboard's Balance page.
